The Meld Screensharing Extension is a Chrome add-on developed by Meetings as a Service. It falls under the category of Browsers and specifically belongs to the Add-ons & Tools subcategory. This extension enables screen sharing for users of the Meld Virtual Meeting Space.

With the Meld Screensharing Extension, users of the Meld web client can easily share their screens with other participants in a conference. The extension leverages Chrome's screensharing facility, allowing any web pages that utilize the Meld WebRTC implementation to access this feature.

Upon the first attempt to share their screen, users will be prompted to grant permission for the extension to be used. Subsequent screen sharing attempts from the same domain will not require another prompt. However, if the Meld web client is accessed from a different domain, users will need to grant access to the extension again.
